Single screw pumps in the sanitary series are made specifically for hygienic applications. The stator is made of non-contaminating food-grade elastomers, such as nitrile, EPDM, silicon, and Viton, and all metallic components in contact with the fluid are made of smooth-finished stainless steel. A mechanical seal or gland packing of sanitary grade ensures shaft sealing. These pumps come with suction and discharge connections that are comparable to IDF/SMS.
